    Which upgraded fan is better?

This is the truth. The fan is not the key, it is the clutch. The Hayden clutch is nothing more than the OE clutch. Same calibration as OE. The Kennedy clutch is specially calibrated to engage a full 15°f lower than stock. The issue at hand is that the OE clutch does not engage until it is...

    High Idle "Hic-Up/Fishbite"

I would agree that you should let it run for a bit at std idle to put some heat into the heads. That and let the oil warm a bit first. My 96 would sometimes run a bit odd if I tried to drive before warmed up. The 1070 RPM speed is all that you should need/use IMHO.

Little Rock Ar to Central Wi

I have a guy who bought a smoker grill (trailer type) needing to get it home to Marshfield or would consider meeting somewhere along the way. email [email protected] if interested.

    Injector nozzles?

The Dmax nozzles are not the problem. While there is a "pop" pressure, the fuel rail is isolated from the nozzle by the solenoid so if there is a leak this likely where the problem is.

    07 LBZ - P0621 & P0403 Codes Set

In fairness to the Dealer Svc Mgr the GM warranty policy on this emissions stuff os a convoluted mess. IIRC the warranty documentation says it is not, but the service procedure does. I'd hate to have to hunt around to find contradictory info myself... These read bottom to top of each...

    07 LBZ - P0621 & P0403 Codes Set

Have them update the ECM programming. There is an update for EGR motor fast cleaning. Plates are not necessary with EGR shut off unless you are going racing. Any respectable stock transmission code will not "blow open" the EGR valve.

Keep getting CEL for an EGR code

In order to properly troubleshoot a guy should have the list of DTC's including the numbers. Everything else stock?

    egr delete 1995

Use intake gaskets from an old 6.2 J code engine. Stop the EGR at the cylinder head or it can still cross over through the intake.

    Polaris

I've owned a 2001 Sportsman 500 HO (carb) and 04 700 carb and now 06 Ranger 700XP. All excellent machines. The 500 is one of the best engines although no experience with the EFI version. The steering can be tough depending on tire choice. The new power steering and a-arm front suspension...

    HID Success / Failure Poll

I've been tempted to try HID's myself. Seems that they have really come down in price. I wanted them on my 2002 as the housings/lenses suck compared to the 2003+ but now my 2002 doesn't see much road duty so it's not such an issue.

    New member Kennedy Diesel...

Yeah thanks for the welcome guys, but I've been here for a while and I think I may have gotten a welcome way back. That or it slipped through the cracks. Either way thanks. Any questions of motive just search my posts.

    HID Success / Failure Poll

That's why we do it. I don't go to the battery though, I go right to the source to avoid corrosion potential etc. So many cheap out and diode out the relay to get all 4, but are leaving tons on the table...

    HID Success / Failure Poll

I've thought numerous times about HID's, but have been waiting for the bugs to be worked out and the pricing to become reasonable. I'm curious what the issue is that a guy needs a harness? I assume it's because the OE wiring is too small? I run my lights on a harness that we've used for...

TSB for the EGR code issue for an 06 LLY

I do it without asking, in fact it would have to be a special request for me to leave it active. You can DIY with EFI Live as well.

TSB for the EGR code issue for an 06 LLY

I prefer to just turn the EGR off in the ECM tuning.

    High Fuel Rail Pressure

Actually, the Juice doesn't alter pressure, it does pulse, BUT since the pressure signal goes in and comes out of the harness, it could get "eaten" by a bad connection etc. Like stated above leave it off and see if it clears up.

TSB for the EGR code issue for an 06 LLY

Yes it's me. I'd suggest you ask the dealer if the ECM updates were loaded. EFI Live or a Tech 2 can check the OS. This would be the dead giveaway. The new OS was just released a couple of months ago if memory serves.

    Fuel pressure relief valve

Not enough followed by too much either when you lift the pedal or it goes into limp. Essentially, the pump is struggling to get the fuel, then overacheives for whatever reason causing pressure cycling. If you had a Edge, this is a common cause. Also if you have jacked up the psi in your...

TSB for the EGR code issue for an 06 LLY

Have you updated the ECM with the latest EGR motor fast cleaning?

    Fuel pressure relief valve

The regulator is on the pump and generally either works fine or lopes/surges. A simple shim will increase the relief valve dump point, but typically it's a flow deficiency that beats up on the valve so I might suggest adding some "push" on the fuel in the form of a lift pump.
