    well i figured it out thanks war wagon just pulled the valve cover off the pass side and what do you know one of the push rods slipped out from under the rocker arm on the number 2 cylinder... rookie mistake must have not been seated in there all the way then when i cranked it the first time...

    Well now I am confused... I bought a year 2000 water pump and it has a different fan mount system. Is this the right pump... does this mean I can't put the old fan back on this one? I wasnt planning on shelling out the cash for that right now.
