Well now I am confused... I bought a year 2000 water pump and it has a different fan mount system. Is this the right pump... does this mean I can't put the old fan back on this one? I wasnt planning on shelling out the cash for that right now.

got the exhaust drilled tapped and pluged today as well as the intake manifold tapped for boost gauge. I figured out the water pump thing 97-98 are higher output 4 bolt fan clutch. 99-? are higher output with the screw on fan clutch. Apparently the screw on type has a better clutch system so I ordered fan and clutch from heath today.

well progress is being made not having a whole lot of time to work on it lately with work and everything. I got the heads back (clearwater) on and the exhaust manifolds. One mistake I made was I didn't mark the injector lines on the pump, can anyone tell me the order these go back on. I may be able to figure it out but I don't want to take any chances.
