    NEED HELP!!

    Do you have access to a scanner or Scangauge to read what temp the computer is seeing? I find that there is about a 10deg difference between the ECM and dash gauge. The dash gauges are more like fancy idiot lights than real gauges.

    Need a good set of 6.2L/6.5L batteries that don't mind sitting for days-weeks.

    What should I get first?

    A smart investment would be the strap type clamps for the exhaust. They don't crimp the tube like the standard U-bolts and you can get the pipes apart if you ever need to.

    Filler pannel?

    Go to the 6.5 forum and find someone with a C3500HD. Then PM them. That filler panel is only used on that truck.

    Another head scratcher

    I've had the horn happen to me twice. http://www.thetruckstop.us/forum/showthread.php?t=7227&highlight=horn Replaced the horn relay while I was rebuilding the engine. Hasn't been cold enough yet to set it off. Hope the relay fixed it.

    If it has 24V plugs installed they probably aren't working at all since our trucks are 12V.

    Your set may or may not have a 1/8NPT if not it is an easy pickup at NAPA. Be aware NPT are taper threads, so if you go too deep your hole will get too big. If you don't have the thermocouple on hand, pick up a pipe plug and periodically test while tapping.
