Before I changed my plug's I plugged the old girl in and she still wouldn't start so I tried a little short squirt of starting juice and she fired right up but it was like 70 degree's when I did this.

Thank's Nobby maybe I'll just forget about using the Donaldson filter then. Our 6.5's don't need any extra help or encouragement on self distructing.
Mark
Thank's for the reply Nobby ,the filter is actually a Donaldson P550964 it cross's to the AC filter I thought it would be easier asking about the AC #.

My 95 wouldn't start found out there was only two glows that were working, even plugging it in on a 70 degree day wouldn't make it start. Bought some Bosch duratherms and put them in and she fired right up. Rock Auto has them for $7.67 ea. plus shipping.

Here you go CC I don't know if this will help you or not

I talked to the seller today he said it leaks oil through the block nothing to do with oil pressure. The only numbers he could find on the back of the block is 10237141. Does anyone know what year this block is from these numbers? Thanks.
Mark
Thanks for the input guy's. I called the seller to get a little more info on it but no answer. He wants $100 for it ,I thought for that price and 30K miles on the rotating assembly that it would be worth that.
Mark
They sold one just like these on the gov auction down in Florida it went for $1400.00 .If I was closer I would bid on them, I checked with a freight company about shipping for the one down in Florida and a ball park figure for shipping to Ohio and it was $1500.00.

I'm going to go look at a 6.5 short block that's on Craigslist. The seller claim's that it was replaced under warranty at 30K miles because the block leaked oil. Dealership claimed the block was porous and that was why oil seeped through the block. Anyone ever hear of this?

I liked the factory slider in my 85 had to have it replaced due to truck tires that I was hauling wanted to ride up front with me. The after market replacement slider sucked didn't rattle or leak that I remember but the fit was terrible the glass people had a tough time installing it and it...
Has any member's here or other forum's tried to build a PMD? I mean I'm in awe of the knowledge that some possess on this forum. It would be cool if a member here could finally solve this problem.
Mark
No worries Crankme, that's the reason I have one of those scented cardboard pine tree tied to my ear for those times when I'm not hitting on all 8. Al Gore would be proud of me, go green!!!!

Has anyone heard anything about the Dorman PMD that Dieselcare sell's down in Florida, they say it's improved has a larger case and you don't need a chiller plate if you use one.
If Dorman make's it probably made in China.

My 95 was doing the same as yours turned out to be a bad battery, it trashed my alternator just trying to keep the bad battery charged up though. Have you went through your ground's recently?
