Truck Find! Much needed tow rig!

Those are good straight trucks, I wish they ran.

They sold one just like these on the gov auction down in Florida it went for $1400.00 .If I was closer I would bid on them, I checked with a freight company about shipping for the one down in Florida and a ball park figure for shipping to Ohio and it was $1500.00.

Not a dually but it would do the job...

I've just finished negotiating my pay for the seed sales, agromomist, and insurance job so everything is in place besides a truck... I have time over christmas break to get something done as far as flying and buying if needed. Thanks for the ads so far keepem coming!

Do you suppose the grille being blocked off with the flame insert had anything to do with having to do a "head job"?

Thanks but $4500 is already on the edge of my budget. I was hoping to do some talking down to 3500-4000 since he seems desperate. I really need something turn key useable, that one would need a new bed too so I could stack a couple pallets. I could justify a regular bed because it can still fit 2 pallets or a pallet an 4wheeler and when I save money it would get a bale bed.

Is there any chance that anyone will be in the Jordan, Mn area? If so shoot me a PM.

Nice find, and if was driven like Matt drives his work truck then it should be cherry with only 75k miles on it. I bought my 94 C1500 with only about 75K miles on it, but it was already blowing like a freight train out the oil spout. It was used as a horse hauler and likely overheated a few times with how underpowered it was with the crappy "S" Hypertech crap chip in it.

Yep 4x4 new 33x12.5 tires. I've done nothing to the engine. It has brand new napa batteries, 3.70 possi gears ,brand new seat and a class 5 hitch . There is a few more pics in my album.

I don't think I can justify 4,500 for not knowing much engine history or recent receipts for a rebuild. How is the blow by? Slick truck though and it would make a great work truck, its actually practical... Is it a push button 4x4 in a W/T Model?

It was a fleet maintained construction truck. It has very good power especially for stock exhaust. It has the cheyanne package interior. Rubber floor mat and push button 4wd. Oil analysis and a compression test should give a good idea of condition. I haven't had this one very long. I have a leak to fix yet from the tranny or transfer case and give the paint a light buff.
