Ok. Know what it is, not familiar with the term dsl. I checked power to it, will try that. Might run supply and return hoses into a fuel can and try that too.
4 trips down. 3 cars to dolly now. Leaking oil, head gasket blown and pressurizing the radiator, front tires half burned off before I realised the tierods were loose (the 9-16 bias 14 plies ride so rough, I didn't realise anything was wrong). I'm thinking a fresh engine and then rebuild this...
Got in a mess last trip and my radiator overflowed onto my aur cleaner. I had to run without one to Tennessee and back.
I now have lifter noise. I figure I have dirt in it. I changed out my nice, expensive Mystik 15w50 for fresh. The noise is intermittent. Do you think it will go away?
Are filter finally got here. Order got lost. Drove to and back N.Y. to TN with a red shop rag as an air filter after the radiator puked and soaked mfine. My filter gauge showed a restricteio even with it there, half worn out and more open than not.
It's not holding pressure and is an eye opener on downhill exit ramps and at red lights. Takes a couple pumps to bring the pedal back up. Just installed this jewel a couple weeks or so ago.
Update.
Back in Tennessee. Twice it puked antifreeze, out the cap and then the overflow. About two to three gallons each time. I'm wondering if I've got a head gasket issue?
Crappy diesel has bit me on this trip. One fill to the next is from running in the mix to four ways on in the slow...
Oh, my oil pressure gauge is now at Max! Except it there when I have the key on, engine not running too. Oh well, it was a nice belief while it lasted.
Ok. Click click click is still there.
3 starters, a different country of origin solenoid, new cable and clean connections. Only thing left is grounds. I know the one to the engine is clean and good. I have not r&r'd the one to the frame. All of them bolt directly to the 4o welding cable to...
It runs perfect without the alternators hooked up. Advance will warranty theirs no problem. Napa needs to see it, figure out if I really bought it there, they don't track purchases to make good on claims. Receipt required.
I did a bunch of wiring harness work today. Less clutter, much cleaner.
I've got such a combination of "different years, non oem, made it myself, made it work, and the factory never made that", that i can't often buy pre fitted parts. I have a roll of 5/15 & 3/8 gates barricade coming. I need something safe near hot spots. I'm told here that the cupper nickel is...
