I have an Air Card through AT&T wireless, it's the only high speed we can get. We get 3G in our area so it is as fast as DSL most of the time and it is protable.
It won't be a problem, both of those models have the same style radios. They will slide right in place and the connectors are the same.
But, since you don't have the connector you could just splice them color for color, or find a harness from a junk yard you could splice in.
I have 1999 Bayou 300 that is having some charging issues, I'm thinking it might be the regulator/rectifier but not sure. Does anybody know what the ohms should be and how to test one of these? I called the local dealer but they were no help, won't even test it for me if i bring it to...
My 6.0 gets around 12 in town and 15 on the highway on a good day. My Dad has a '99 1500 5.3l and he gets around 19-20 highway driving, not sure around town. A guy I work with swears up and down that he gets 22 out of his 5.3 CC 1500 but I'm not sure about it.
I have a Gramin Street Pilot that i use when go out of town. There is some comfort in knowing that you will "never get lost", althought it has been known to take me through some questionable areas of town before.:paranoid:
I read somewhere about replacing the PCV valve with one from a parts store will cause oil consumption, the GM one is "special". Anybody heard anything about that? I might give that a try, it's only $8.00.
My truck uses about a quart of oil ever 2,000 miles or so, it has around 125,000 miles on it. I have been running Valvoline 5w30 in it. Any suggestions or ideas on how to minimize the oil usage, anybody had any luck with "high milage" oil?? Does it help?
