My 96 has 3.73's with the NV4500 and plenty of towing miles. 5th gear towing included. I recall hearing a issue with the dodge/cummins trucks towing in 5th but never anything about the 6.5's. Mines holding up just fine. Barry you are nuts....looks like another nice find though!
