Rotate them tires and probably last a while longer.Changed front and rear differential fluid and transfer case fluid on my wife’s 2023 4Runner Off Road Premium. Lubed the drive shafts and rotated tires. Made my wife hand me tools and operate the garden pump for the fluids as her punishment for not logging this maintenance. I believe I last did these fluid changes at 30K and the truck now has 51K miles. I still need to change cabin and air filters.
Observations: Front and rear brake pads have little wear and should easily go another 40K miles. Front tires are worn to the bars on the inside. Overall, tires have about 5K to 10K left of wear on them. Need to make it to Fall for the Black Friday tire specials.
Truck averaged 19.5 mpg on the trip down from Montana to SoCal and it was loaded down with equipment. Truck runs great as you would expect from a Toyota.
I did rotate them. They currently have 51K miles on them and these are the OEM tires which usually go 60K. After these it will be Cooper AT3 LT load range E. Those will go at least 80K.Rotate them tires and probably last a while longer.
The spare is still brand new. Should have been in the rotation but it’s on a different style aluminum wheel. The tread depth on that new tire is nowhere near the depth of a new Cooper AT3.I did rotate them. They currently have 51K miles on them and these are the OEM tires which usually go 60K. I can’t remember- did you ever get the actual provent filter or still the cko one?Pulled the ProVent catch can off the ‘94. Pressure washed all the leak areas, then drove it around. It appears the leaks have stopped. Sigh, relief. That was a wasted project.
I tested the check valve again. It was in the right direction and working properly.
CKO can with ProVent filter. It was not allowing the blowby to exit to the turbo boot. Had nothing to do with the filter element and everything to do the with the pos CKO can. Never did strain enough oil for it to push past the check valve. Only small dribble made it to the check valve. Instead everything was blowing out the dipstick and CDR grommet, creating significant leaks down the side of the engine such that I was afraid to drive it.I can’t remember- did you ever get the actual provent filter or still the cko one?
Same here. Mine leaked out of the cap.My CKO one didn't have a check valve in it. only one it had was on the top cap in case of it over-pressurizing, but it still leaked around the cap seal. the can is not perfectly round and leaks.
