Yeah I'm sure the engine drank that much more oil. it's getting plenty of cylinder lubrication LOL. hopefully i can keep it running and driving a while longer till I run across another decent engine or buildable block to put in it.
I was reading here in the forums from the past looking at some of the happening on the 93, found some posts from back in 2016 where this engine might have eaten a glow plug and where it had bent a couple of pushrods and took out lifters from a broken rocker shaft bolt. this might be some of the reason it has blow by other than when the engine was installed the truck only had about 100k on it and the engine had 140k. the truck has 286k now that puts the engine at about 325k I have never done a compression test on it.
if that 6.2 was worth the effort I would be trying to fix it up and run it. I think there is an issue in the IP (loppy idling) along with the cracked webs, I don't think it will last too long. Even if I did try dropping it in, I don't thing I can swap IP's since the fuel has been turned up on the one in the 93.
