Yeah that is another big problem here in CT. You pay property tax on your vehichles so a 50k$ truck is like having another house tax bill.At our current Mill rate the tax alone yearly would be 1350$ on that truck. That is more than the f'in insurance. CT is bittersweet. If you drive old junk, you make out cause insurance is cheap around here but if you buy something nice it'll cost you double anywhere else.
IDK what the answer is. I wish I would win the lottery, then I'd sell them all and buy a 69 Dodge charger, paint it orange with a rebel flag etc etc and put a P pumped 24v in it....:rofl:

BTW My Fathers truck is still an option. I gotta say when the Dually broke down on the highway, that Powerstroke towed that camper effortlessly. It was wicked hot that day and that Superduty never even broke a sweat. Too bad it rides like a bag of shit.

Running 14's on a tune and exhaust and being able to pull anything I hook to is pretty sweet....

I have a 24' PJ gooseneck that I will be hauling bales with all next week....

This truck doesn't cost money, it makes money :D
