who has built tranny's?

I am really happy with this trans. I haven't been on a dyno yet, but the tune I'm running is pretty stout. The person who wrote it says its very simular to level 6 on the PPE. Shifts smooth as stock untill you put your foot into it and then it shifts fast and crisp. Although purple is not my favorite color

I agree. Why paint a trans purple...:noidea:

Glad it's working out for you, good luck!

My trans is finally in and I almost broke my neck tonight when the tq converter locked. This thing pulls hard now and holds great with a tune equivilant to a PPE Level 7, wanting to get a lift pump so I can run a equivilent of the PPE level 10! Hopefully soon,

Tony

Glad its working out well!

SCIV and a 1058 here. Just wish I would have gotten a 1057, cause this one locks hard and is too loose for my taste. Ran a 12.9 with it so far and hope the new converter helps with ET's when I get it.

Thanks for the heads up experience!

What will you do with the 1058 when you pull it out ??? :eyebrows::eyebrows:

Mike L SCIII with a TTS triple disk converter.

I run a VA230 with a Predator 40 stacked, daily. 45k still going strong.

SC IV w/ 1058 converter installed by St Joseph Diesel. So far it's been great, but never had more that 100 hp tune on it. Getting EFI live this weekend so the we'll really see how it does.

SC IV with 1058, few ATS Parts, Co-Pilot, C3 Oiler, TC Brace, SC 5 to 6 SPD Kit, all in a 07 Allison

wait, mike built you a tranny with a TTS converter???

Was this recently or a LONG time ago???

I'm wondering if it's worth saving a little more and going for the IV or if I would be happy with the III.

I'm just going with the IV. Everybody else says it's worth it.
