I hadn't investigated too far with my gear drive, I do know that it came from DSG, as I do have the original purchasers receipt ... On the cam gear, however, there is a PJ stamped into it.
Good to know, thanks.

Where's the reluctor wheel on that Phazer kit?
I would think you reuse it. In front of the gear.
Ive been looking hard with no luck so far. If other companies are still offering them someone must still be making them right?
Did you call DSG Canada?

when did Pete Jackson go out of business? that kinda sucks.
I am too young/ never read up on him much to remember, but he was a huge name in gear drives for decades, correct?
Alain, Just reread my answer and its a wrong answer. I must have had the Fluid Damper reluctor ring on my mind?
Anyone have a timing gear drive set they can send me for a possible production run? It will not be used in any way except to take messurements from and get a machinist eye on it. I'd like to see one in my hands and not have to reinvent the wheel. In other words reverse engineer the thing. I'll pay postage both ways. If it works out I might have these made again.
Thanks answers a question I had about the reluctor ring being seperate. Is that a different metal surface on it? wonder why?here's pics of my set Leroy.
Saw that one, over $550ish there.Try this gear drive 6.2/6.5 set
That is a lot of cash for some chunks of metal.
KD still carries them on his website.
