What else should I do while I have the intake off?

FWIW, In the FFM, I've thinned the two stroke 50% with Diesel Clean (white or grey) on a new IP and earlier have restarted on a 50/50 mix of diesel clean and transmission fluid. Started fine, ran well no issues.

It's Alive!!

It started easier than I expected.

After priming my lines, filling filters, and making a mess, I spun it a few times with the lines cracked at the injectors.
After tightening the lines I only had to spin it about 8 times for about 10 seconds at a time.
I used diesel treated with 2-stroke oil and diesel clean.

Now I need to clean up the mess and check for leaks under the hood and under the truck.

I took it for a drive and the TCC issue and touchy throttle seems to be gone!!!!!!

I could use some guidance on how to do the timing. TDC Learn?
Currently TDCO is 0.6 deg. I am using a friends Genesys scan tool.

Anyone have advice on how to proceed to do the timing. TDC Learn?
Currently TDCO is 0.6 deg and I think it is supposed to be around -1.5 or so.
I am using a friends Genesys scan tool.

I cheated today. :nono: Found a local guy with a lot of experience with 6.5s and he timed it for $40. I hated to do it but it was cheaper than buying the bent wrenches and saved a lot of time. It really sucked to do after doing the rest by myself but I was ready to drive it.
Report:
With the new fuel filter/pump system the fuel pressure was 10psi at idle dropping to around 5psi at about 3/4 pedal. The fp sending unit is between the FFM and IP.
The 195 t-stats worried me a bit. Saw it almost touch 210 a couple times. I am going to watch this closely and I am already considering R&R on the fan clutch. I want to make sure this thing doesn't get too hot!
Drove pretty good though.
Thanks for all the help guys!

I allways say if your running 195 tstats make sure the rest of the cooling system is in shape. Clean rad, fan, clutch, wp...
Main thing is a cleaned radiator pull it & clean it once a year (on the outside)

I cleaned it in and out then had cooling system flushed to remove that dexcool crap. Running green now, not orange...:)
I am going to look at the clutch though. Any recommendations on how to test it?

Put about another 60 miles on it today. Found a leaky injector return line that I will try to replace Friday. And, wouldn't you know the batteries crapped out on me too. Had to replace both of them. :mad2:
I hope after I get these leaky injector return lines replaced, re-install the heat shields on the turbo, and get a new pressure line made for the hydro boost (leaking) that she will let me rest a little. Heck, I would like to make a mount for my gauges and get the trans temp gauge hooked up.

On the drive home:

After driving it today I am not sure it was just the batteries. It was still charging a little high. 15-1/2V and slowly, very slowly, ended up moving down to about 15V. Any thoughts?
