What are the threads on an OEM lift pump?

I once looked up the waterpump from the maxtorque article and the results I got led back to the 2000 civilian H1 waterpump?

Also IIRC the restrictor for the dual t-stat crossover is a from a 6.2,the nipple for the bypass hose has it built in.

okay leroy, I got paid from grain harvest (in Kansas) so I have some $ to buy.

what is the current price on fluidamprs?

can you get a gear drive timing set, or do I need to go to kennedy for that? I am sure the chain is loose at a 1/4 million miles, so I think that might help the crappy starting, along with some injectors and GPs.

what about the water pump that heath uses, the legendary 88894035 (IIRC) I am thinking about re-doing the whole front of the motor while I am in there, strip it down and build it up. gear drive, Fluidampr, WP.

I am no good at saudering (spelling wrong, I know) so are you making a relay kit for the LP yet?

thanks!

Ill have to check FD price on Monday.
I got a GM water pump, clutch, dmax fan off Amazon. They had the best prices at the time.
I don't sell the timing gear..
Im not making the OPS relay yet.

would you almost say amazon is as good as e-bay as far as getting parts?

I will look into getting th other stuff. I feel when the damper is off, I better change the likely original chain, and the WP needs to be balance flow, etc. it is never ending! but the good thing is if she stuffs a rod I can still re-use everything.

thanks again!

I like Amazon, but what sucks is today I found out when you buy from Amazon in TX you have to pay state sales tax now!! sucks!

did you get a Fluidampr price Leroy?

also, I didnt see it on your website, but weren't you selling a injector installation kit?

thanks

get a price yet leroy? I have to be in idaho by next saturday, will it be able to get here before wednesday? any discount on multiples? (not sure if I can swing 2 fluidamprs, but after some purchases, we will see! :) )

thanks!

and while you are checking, I forgot I dont have a puller with metric anything, so the fluidampr puller kit (like what heath sells, IIRC it is sold by fluidampr so you should be able to get it)

thanks again!

I will definitely take one damper and one tool. let me check finances to see if I can swing a second one. will try and finalize in the morning (might be later, depending on if the internet feels like working) , and get you paid.

how much was the o-ring reimbursement from earlier?

thanks!

yes, just the one large o-ring.

ok, I will definitely do the:
1) damper
1) install tool

as long as there is no discount for buying two, I would like to wait on the other one. if there is a discount, let me know, and I will shuffle some $ around and get two.

go ahead and send the paypal bill (if no discount on multiples) to [email protected] if there is a discount, PM me, or respond to this thread.

thanks leroy!

shoot, forgot one thing. I wanted to ask about your remover tool. have you ever found a GP that it wouldnt remove? I am paranoid to change them in the two trucks, due to the fear of one screwing up and not coming out, and/or breaking off.

if it is un-defeated, how much is it? thanks!

The glow plug puller is an awesome tool. All of mine have come out in one piece. If the tip did happen to break you can retrieve it through the injector hole with a magnet..ect. $69

well, that is mighty nice of you, but funds are whittling away, so I will have to pass on the second one. still gotta buy tires for the front of the 91 GMC, which, by the way is what this fluidampr is going on. the one on the 93 looks better.

so, now the final list is:

(1) Fluidampr for mechanically injected 6.xL GM diesel (going on the 91, but IIRC, no difference between 6.2L and 6.5L mechanical)
(1) Fluidampr installation kit
(1) Glow plug removal tool

billing and shipping info in PM

thanks!

I like to plug in the block heater when working on these engines. I've found that I was able to get things moving after plugging it in that wouldn't move before. Glow plugs, oil filter adapters, injectors, exhaust bolts.

Used in conjunction with Sea Foam/Deep Creep, PB Blaster, Knocker Loose, Simple green and heat
