Vibration at idle in drive

they all look excellent. This truck looks like it rolled off the showroom floor underneath. It was always garaged by the FD and washed all the time.

it's way more serious than that. feels like a Duetz diesel. Maybe someone stole my 6.5 when I wasn't looking and left me a Duetz...It's either something is coming apart or the motormounts are shot even though they look fine. I was able to get a good look at the drivers side one today while I had the crossover off and the tranny cover down. it looked fine. I even had the tranny shop check the trans and he crawled under and looked at the mounts and said they looked fine. The only thing if I put a jack under the bellhousing and put pressure on it, the vibration is gone but I could be absorbing it through the block of wood ??

And when this is happening the engine seems to be idling fine, purring along? Or any sign its hicupping at all? A vibration described like another engine seems like maybe it could be the engine vibrating too much? Is fan clutch staying engaged at idle? I suspect that if you had a tranny fault and if it pegged tranny pressure the extra load in drive may cause some vibrating, if you could verify tranny pressure at idle in neutral and in gear.

Engine is running perfectly smooth. Notice another symptom today. Parked uphill, it vibrated even in neutral but not reverse so I turned the truck around facing downhill and no vibration in any gear...wtf ?? It's gotta be the motor mounts. BTW the chinese made tranny mount I got from advanced was noticably lighter and IMHO poor quality. I saved the old mount since there is obviously nothing wrong with it for reinstall when the foreign one fails. The drivers side motor mount looks like such a whore to do...:mad2:.
