Got my Truck Raised back Up Today. It's a Full 6" Higher, and back to Leveled Height.

The same Vibrations are still there that I had when I was Lowered, and I think they might ever be a lil Stronger now.

What the hell could it be?

Should I get a New U-Joint, and Replace the one in the Truck and See if that Fixes it?

I get the Vibration when coming to a Stop REALLY Bad, and when Taking Off I can Feel it, but not as Bad.:mad2:

Have you greased it? Removed the shaft and greased the splines and the front joint? I would do that before replacing the joint. It fixed a vibration in our Suburban.

I Rolled Under the this Morning with it in Neutral, and there is just enough Wiggle Play in the Driveshaft that you can Feel it. So I'm just gonna get a New U-Joint and Replace it. They are Cheap enough.

James, before you pull it apart try unbolting the drive shaft and rotate it 180* and see if that changes anything.

The Quest Continues....

Put my Truck in the Shop Today, and they Looked at all the U-Joints, took the Shaft Out, everything, and they said nothing is wrong.

I'm about to put my head through the wall with this thing.

They said I could have Snapped a Belt in the Tires. Does that sound like Possibility?

That can do it, I had a side wall in a tire go and it shook like hell. Mine was obvious though when you saw it.

I would rotate the tires and see if anything changes. Did the shop you took it to see if the drive shaft was balanced? It will need to go on a machine for that.

Definitely rotate the tires and swap sides, don't just move them front to back. If it's a bad tire, you'll be able to feel the vibration coming from a new location.

A weird vibration in the front can also be hub bearings about to die.

It Feels like there is no Fluid in the Front or Rear Diff, or the Tranny or something. But there is. I Checked Last Night.

It's like 2 things are trying to Mesh Together, but there's no Fluid, if that Explains it good enough.

There's no Noise from it either.

Have you made sure the parking brakes aren't rusted to the backing plate and dragging on the rotors up there in the salt belt? The rears on these trucks get all messed up from the salt for some reason.

No, I haven't Checked that yet.

I'm getting to the End Of The Line with this thing.

I HATE when there is a Problem and it can't be Found.

I really thought it was the U-Joints.

Took the Rear Wheels Off this Morning and took a Look around.

Nothing Looked like it was "Out of the Norm". Checked all Nuts and Bolts that I could put a Wrench On, everything was Tight.

How about vibration at speed, 30mph, 60 mph 70 mph?

When you say the driveshaft had play was it at the tail housing?

Check the t case mount? Check the adapter between the t case and the trans mission just to be sure.

To check the tires use your spare tire and swap it to all 4 corners to see if it disapears. This will let you pin point the bad tire if you have one.

I'd say between 70-80mph I can Feel the Vibration.

It had just enough Play in it you could Feel it at the Output End of the Shaft from the Tranny / Transfercase to the Rear.

Is it only at 70 -80mph?
