Project FRANKENTRUCK 2nd Gen Ram / Cummins

I'm new to this site, and was asked to start a post on my current Diesel Project.
It started life as a 1995 Ram 2500 4wd that had rolled down a mountain.
I bought it and 1998 Gas 2wd std cab short bed truck with a bad transmission on a whim.
I had no vision of what I was going to do, so I decided to combine the two.

To keep posts short I'll attempt to post the various stages in getting to where it currently is (Daily driven yet constantly changing).

Not having a 2 post lift forced incremental lifts and supports to remove and swap cabs.

After short cab mounted, dash swapped, and bed sitting unmounted on long frame, deciding what to do with it.

Decided to cut the frame

Did some body work, and sealed with primer sealer in sections to prevent rust

Found some Fender Flares, color matched them and installed, then some better wheels & tires.

Transmission went out in my Dually so I made sure I could use it like a truck

Modified some box 3rd gen front control arms to lengthen and replace factory channel arms.

Cut bumpers to install LED Light bar and backup cubes.

Started basic engine upgrades, Valve Springs, Push rods, governor springs, etc.
Bought a transmission core, had it performance built, swapped, and built custom trans cooler lines.

Upgraded rear drum brakes with 1 ton chevy wheel cylinders to improve stopping.

Forgot to mention other engine mods.... Killer Dowel Pin fix, 5 inch Exhaust,

Installed Boost, Trans Temp, EGT, and Drive pressure, gauges, ARP625 Head Studs , AFC Live and 4k Governor Springs.
Found images of milling rocker pedestals, Valve springs side by side, and BHAF Air filter install.

Bumped pump timing, installed 5x.013 injectors, and installed a Rack Plug

While in Ohio watching an ODSS event, put the truck on the Dyno... 409rwhp and 951torque, still on stock HX35.

Bought a set of 20x14 Fuel wheels and had Fury 35x15.5x20 tires mounted. Required a bunch of cutting to allow full lock turns.

Updated from Y style steering to T style and fabbed a new style dampener bracket

You're talking to mostly non dodge guys. Maybe you could tell us why you did some of the mods you did and the advantages of them. Sounds interesting.....
