Project 350HP update

Curious about that turbo elbow, doesn't look so flow friendly??

Goes without saying that looks fantastic... Nice clean installs...........

I couldn't agree more. That is why I have enlisted the help of Ted @ boostcontroller.com to supply new 4-ply 90 degree coupler and clamps. This should help with any issues in that regard.

I also wanted to touch back on the issue of using a BOV. I have spoken with Ted @ boostcontroller.com and have come to the conclusion of using an external wastegate along with an in cab adjustable boost controller. This will give us the opportunity to adjust boost on the go for whatever driving situation the truck is in.

Thanks for the questions, keep them comming.

Corrigated externally, with a smooth inner liner, I had same misgivings myself when I saw pics, but once it arrived for the kit I put on my 2nd install (Burb) I saw that there would be no flow problems like I first thought might be there, plus on std installs it's nearly a straight shot to the OEM intake.

6.5Q.

Are you using the KUJO chip for this thing? I hear through the grapevine that it flat rails with an ATT.

How does that external wastegate work? a flap in a pipe that you install at the collector before the turbo with a adjustable cable valve?

Not shooting it down, just looks diffrent due to his intake setup.... Didn't even realize it was part of the 'kit'... after all we are in the 'performace' section here! :)

Sure makes the turbo look big in that picture more so than others for some reason.

I'm guessing you'll weld an external 'gate flange on the crossover pipe? If just temporary for the dyno run, an external dump is simple, but crude sounding. Gotta be mindful of where hot gases are directed & dyno shop might not like it.

If plumbing as a bypass back into the exhaust system, reintroducing the bypass exhaust a few feet down the exhaust from the turbine outlet will lessen how much turbulence bypass exh re-entry causes. Also good to keep re-entry angle as reasonable as space allows.

Photo aspect and depth of field from close in shot. Reversal of the RH mirror warning where "Objects in the [lens] are smaller than they appear"

Ian, can you elaborate on how and where you located the routing of the propane and other 'pharmacuticals) etc from the bed and the concealment method. I think that's worth a few lines and photos from your photographer.

Thanks.

He's from Finland I forget what real name is, but IIRC I could not pronnounce it easily.

What I meant was KOJO being called KUJO. KUJO IIRC was a devil dog in a movie by that name. I know I've been called worse.:smile5:
