Hey folks, I finally got the engine installed and plumbed the pre oiler pump. Here's some pics for ya

So the hose is 1/2" ID hydraulic hose rated for 3100 PSI with #8 JIC fittings, so I think a failure is highly unlikely given the route it is mounted.

I would use some sort of heat protection on the hoses being that close to the manifold. I doubt the manifold would burn them, but over time it would do some damage.

So I made a couple of additions to the pre-oiler system today, added some heat shield on the hose and added a filter just after the check valve. So I'm dead in the water with being able to make any progress until I find someone capable of building me an injection pump that works.
