Yes, both will fit. There are only two EAa0111 left. The EAa0112 is bigger Dia and fits real tight in the K47 (so I have been told)

BTW you get your new MRFSU and screen?

In the past it was said the 112 wouldnt fit, how does the price compare on an EAa0112 anyway?

They are $60. Im not positive either about the fit. It is "supposed" to fit, but tight is what I recall. I think it was Turbine Doc that did a write up on filter sizes in a K47??

I have the 111 and I wouldn't try to stuff a bigger one in. I think the box itself would become a restriction at that point.

mine has 2 diff part numbers on it for filters, I would have to agree with the flow being restricted by the housing with the bigger filter. I think it was mainly for dusty dirty conditions so it would last longer

Correct...Nearest that I can tell is the k47 option probably just got you the HD filter, not a different air box. There are no ID markings on any of the boxes, and every one I have seen seems to be the exact same size as the other.

Shame to see they are not producing this filter any more...I was very happy with mine. Glad I bought an extra at the time.

Cool, a couple options. I hadnt seen that AFE option before, would you say its better than the AEM? Both dry and vacuum clean? Is the AFE considered MagnumFlow, can't find it online.

The Donaldson is not the same as the NanoFiber filters.

The AFE is nice, good quality and fast shipping from warehouse. The ends are poly, they are more flexible/softer and likely make a better seal and will last longer than rubber. I like that it does not have the external metal framing or the mesh frame of cotton filters. And dry element is great, vacuum clean or use synthetic element cleaning spray and let it dry out, like with the cotton filters, but no oiling. I am not using it, actually sent it to out in a K47 box to SuburbanK2500, because he still had the flat panel air box with his intercooler setup, and no source. With the ATT, new high capacity intercooler and high performance tuning, the filter will definately get a work out in his sub.

AEM can be had for quite a bit less, and was made with K&N which usually turns me off, as I am not a K&N fan. Although the AEM is a synthetic and not a typical cotton K&N type filter. It has rubber ends and by all accounts they seem to be decent dryflow filters.

Thats a huge filter, might have to dent in the fender well to get it to fit under the hood. But a custom setup that you relocate the battery might work. I think you would also be fine getting a Universal Amsoil nanofiber that is shorter, but has the inverted cone top for additional surface area. They also have rectangular like cones whatever they are called, wide diameter in one axis but smaller diameter in other.

Or universal AEM dryflow.
