How about the Duramax fan blade?Buy the injectors from Leroy. Yes they are the bosch and we know they aren’t knock offs. Also a descent price. https://leroydiesel.com/products/bosch-injector-set-of-8-brand-new-no-core/
The marine ones are only if you have a heavy built 6.2/6.5 with a big turbo and modified pump. A complete rebuild for handling all the power is a flat requirement in that relm.
Since you can get descent power with better turbo and proper tune, with other bolt ons- stay with stock level injectors. Those bosch from Leroy have been tested out to be in balance by others here that bought them. Bosch had a hiccup when the first moved production to India, but has since brought it to top quality.
BIG FAT NO to that waterpump. AC Delco balanced flow only.
the cooling system getting dialed in is it’s own descent size project well worth doing.
A few pictures of the thermostat crossover you have is helpful. If you know 100% it is a dual stat unit- then you want the bypass restriction fitting going into that balanced flow waterpump. A better option is the single stat WITH BLOCK OFF crossover and no restrictor fitting.
Then get the electro viscous fan clutch, fan, and controller that AK Diesel Driver shows in his thread.
Having an aftermarket quality gauge reading from right rear head while you drive.
200 good
210 worry and watch the gauge more than you do the road
220 pull over now!
Only exception is someone is dying and you are willing to ruin your engine for the cause.
Many of us prefer a 180° stat instead of the 195. Some people see a tiny drop in mpg but some don’t. Just more headroom incase of an error.
Welp, at least it is a truck style chassis. I was thinking it was a ban type of a configuration, those are a little rougher to work on. In My opinion.Sorry, it took me a while to get back to you. I have two other projects on my plate and the truck has to wait its turn. I do have a couple of pictures. The second picture is of under the hood to the back passenger side where the grounds are.
