Husker how much all that cost? I do the Rand Mcnally trip thru Cairo, I like lil side trips!
Fancy gap, and on north up I-77 is very pretty in the fall and has great views of the valleys around it. When I was stationed in SE GA we would go right through there to visit family in OH. There are two tunnels, as you get close to WV, that go through the moutain. My girls always looked forward to that part of the trip.

So today my dad, Gene n I built some wooden covers for the campers gas stove and sink so I could have some counter space in the camper. He was a mechanical engineer and his hobby is cabinet making. Just used scraps from his shop. Here is a pic of my Mom n Dad inside my camper looking at it. Tight quarters with thre in there! They are in there mid seventys. Gene n Stella to yall. Also my dads 1990 Chevy 1500 gasser, he got it ne n it has 60000 miles. I thing its the prettyest colored truck chevy ever built! Gonna wstch the Belmont tonite n enjoy my moms home cooking!Husker we have almost no snow but that winter we got several icy blizzards.

Hey Don n the rest of yall this is a pic of what u see sitting on the parents front porch. Thats Walker Mountain. Its about a half mile away n steep n rocky. That mtn is so bad that u fence in 1000 acres n call it a boundry for the cattle. U only fence three sides cause these mountains r dry and the cattle will turn back for water before they cross the mountain n get away. Its a wonderful beautiful place here with the lush valleys n hollers n mountains everywhere. I was raised here.View attachment 33625Hey Don n the rest of yall this is a pic of what u see sitting on the parents front porch. Thats Walker Mountain. Its about a half mile away n steep n rocky.
