Heart Surgery

Does it matter which way the oil port on the lifter faces? Mine were all different.

Machine shop said about 4 weeks turnaround for the block and crank.
Technically it doesn't matter, I locate the hole towards the rear, the oil flow comes from the rear. And our lifters don't rotate.

Hold up!!
At 4:30 a phone call confirmed that they had removable valve seats.

A 7:35 email said they DON'T have removable valve seats.

I'm a bit of a pessimist on this one- gonna go with they don't have them unless somebody here has proof to the contrary. Bummer
