Header exhaust leaks

The headers are back on. Now we are trying to figure out how to shield the shift cable from the exhaust. The cable runs between the down pipe and the manifold that runs to the turbo collector. We were thinking to run the cable inside of metal flexible conduit, then wrap that.ds header.png ds header.png

Header wrap and paint the wrap with high temp header paint to lock it in place. You can lean on the manifolds with header wrap without burns after a full pull on my truck. Stuff's that good so you don't need to go crazy.

Wrap before the turbo blanket... IMO All you need.
