Ford/ New Holland 6.6L

hey does anyone have a part number or something for arp head studs for the 6.6 and maybe somewhere to get a good head gasket the

If you already have the head off, then you can get the worksheet from ARP, and measure them. They have a whole lot more than what the catalog shows. I'm not going to worry about it til mine pops. Then, I'll get head studs & good rod bolts. A better HG? That's gonna be a tough find.

When I tear apart my motor for the overhaul before it gets installed I'm going to be using ARP on the heads, mains, and connecting rods to keep everything where it should stay. As far as what head gasket to use that may be a stretch. Aren't there a few tractor pulling guys that use this motor too? I think they call it the Ford 401? Maybe membership with a forum that does tractor pulls focused on the tractors has a few members that work with this motor that can get some pointers on an appropriate HG.

I think the AT545 will be more than enough for your F100. Keep in mind, the AT545 started getting its bad reputation because larger , more powerful engines where being put in-front of them, then they where being put into trucks and buses that where starting to weight more and carry heavier loads, but nothing was being done to the trans to improve its durability. Of course they are going to break and shred input shafts. For a pickup that will be lucky to weight over 6000lbs soaking wet that AT545 will be more transmission than you will ever need. That and your not hot rodding it to much so its not like that trans is going to be morbidly abused.:agreed: or so you told me:D

Mine is sitting in the garage still. The injectors are being looked at for future orders of a 300 hp 6.6/7.8 package.
