Fluiddamper "GROUP BUY"

I might be out leroy.

Heath sells it for 415 bucks and I'll be driving by there in a couple weeks (stopping in actually).

So I wouldn't have to pay shipping.

You've got a good price, but shipping will probably drive it over what I can get it from heath on my way through......

Hey leroy, I may be back on again.

Joe at heath thinks they're backordered again.

Price me up shipping to canada (v9m 2k2) via USPS and we'll see where we fall.

But I'll have to get it by middle end June or I won't be here to get it at all.....;)

I will check on that for you. They are being drop shipped I hope we don't run into the UPS deal again.

Also, I am going to sell these as needed. I don't need to wait on 5 pepole like I thought. Fluid Damper is going to drop ship for me. My plan before was to get five at a time mailed here from them to save on shipping compaired to shipping me every time. But, now that they will drop ship I can do individual transactions.
Have sold 3 so far. Anyone else??

Hey Leroy, I've been talking with Bill Heath and he says he's backordered from the factory for them and isn't sure when they'll be available.

Are you having that problem also?

If not, it's even more likely I'll be buying one off you.....as long as I can get it before june 20-ish that is.....

OK, called Fluid damper and they are back ordered, but will be ready to ship on Friday 01Apr11 Shipping to Canada they said would be about $40-50 via UPS only. So, looks like I could have it to you before 20June no problem.

Crap.

UPS means a minimum brokerage charge of 49.75 on a declared value of 350-500 dollars.

Plus a COD fee of approximately 5 bucks.

Plus taxes and duties.

So;

400 for the damper
50 for Shipping
50 for brokerage
5-10 for COD fee to collect brokerage fee :mad5:
28 for taxes
------
533 all in.

and that's hoping they don't try to charge duty on it.

Same problem we ran into with the exhaust.

:banghead:

Sorry leroy, I'd like to do business with you, but that's just too much over the price I can get it from Heath for.

You have a better price, but the difference is that I can pick it up on my way through vice drop shipping by UPS.

Just kind of sucks because I'll have to install it in a campground somewhere instead of my nice cozy garage.

Thank you for all your effort though.

You seem like a stand up seller to me!

Wonder if Heath might be able to let you do it out by him while you're there for a minimal or no fee BJ. Wouldn't hurt to ask, especially since you are a good customer and upstanding member of TTS.

Nope.

Talked to Joe at bills place. They refer installs to a local partner shop.

Didn't ask Bill when I talked to him and ordered the goodies about an hour ago.

It's not that big of a deal really.

Drop the skid plate, release the belt, remove the vac pump while I'm in there, pull the balancer/pulley assembly. If it's a real PITA, pull the rad shroud.

Then, press the balancer on, drop the trans inspection cover (to torque the balancer bolt), install the pulley, run the shorter belt, bolt the skid plate back on.

Easy peasy.

If there's no bumps, 1 hour tops. Chuck in another 15-20 mins if I pull the seal also.

Anyways, we're getting off Leroy's sell topic so I'll stop there....

:)

BJ, I can check what the shipping to me is and then USPS it to you if you like. I should have thought about that before.
Let me know.

Yes I did mean 01June11. Thanks

Leroy

Thanks again for the offer Leroy. You continue to show you excellence as a seller on this forum.

But, my visa has already gotten a workout and the unit has already been paid for......
