):h No laughing gas for me. I'm not really sure what happened, but the history goes: I bought the car in 98 with 62K miles on it. I knew the guy who had it, and he used it as a company car, CEO of a Doctor-owned surgery center, anyways, I always changed the oil and filter at 3K miles and no real modes except for a K&N filter and suspension upgrades. A few years back we were driving back from Texas running about 80 or 85 I got a chime alarm that said "check guages" when I did I noticed the temp guage was pegged....to the hot side....:mad2: Waterpump took a dump and I am not sure how long it had been hot. Got the pump replaced and drove home and drove it purty regular. Well, I took it in because I thought the AIR pump siezed up (CEL was on) as the mechanic was verifying he found oil in the coolant and tests indicated a cracked block or heads. I didn't wanna spend money on a tear down to see if it was the heads then find out it was the block. Sooo, I just did the whole long block. My guess is Laughing gas ? These motors under normal maintainence should last way more than that.
thanks for the Advice. The Car is for sale right now.
Im building a shop and need the extra cash.
Not a real Hot Rod, it's still got the original 265 V8
