Posted last night about the engine stopping when letting off the throttle. The problem was the battery post bolt had backed out. Found it today going down the highway and the gauges went dead. The post had backed out and was touching a metal bracket behind the battery on the drivers side and touching the battery attachment as well. Now, after all this it is charging fine and the cables appear fine but any load I put on the system like the rear a/c blower, power windows up and down, headlights, etc. the gauges all swing to the left about 1/4 scale and the "glow plug" light comes on dim. It appears I have a load carrying problem of some sort. The alternator charge at the battery is around 14.3 with a load on the system but the gauge shows about 10. When the load is removed the Voltage gauge shows normal. When the load is applied Oil pressure gauge drops, fuel gauge drops, speedo goes up to about 20. BIG MESS! HELP!
