Seen an e-bay store that has this exhaust for our rigs with free shipping atm.

Anyone have any experieince with Diamond Eye? I assume it comes with all hangers and clamps?

It fits well into factory hanging spots?

No welding required, I assume.

Yep, i have it on my truck, the only issue i ran into was you need a big blade to cut it to size, all i had was 6'' saw zall blades, had a 5'' tip that i put on and traced around the pipe so i had a perfect circle and cut it carefully with the saw. Turned out good, im very happy with the fit, finish (i painted it with silver hi temp paint, have to clean it with gas and then sanded, pipe is covered in a film..), and sound....

Used the die grinder to cut mine. Drew a line around the pipe where I wanted to cut it off and followed the line. That stainless was a mother to cut.

Finally someone 96+ answer (i guess they changed hanger styles?) worked well, good.

Tip for cutting pipe square, wrap masking tape around it, it will create a perfect line to follow as long as the tape overlaps itself perfectly you're square.

On edit, you don't have diamond eye.

The hangers on the diamondeye system are welded to extra clamps, so you can move them to where you need them. The only one that needed some tweeking on mine, was the one where the DP connects to the intermediate pipe.

Got it on my '99 Burb...Very good fit. Had a pinnacle power on my '95...the diamond eye fit the burb better. It was easier to put on...70,000km no problems yet.

If it is on the bay, you can message the guy and you can get the system without the muffler. He will charge you 260 free ship, and include a 4' piece of pipe in place of the muffler. But all depends if you want the muffler, or not.....

The diamond eye is the setup I have too.

The downpipe is NICE, -and the rest of the setup is truly slip-clamp, -and it fits excellent.

I opted to mig my 4" glasspack in place, -just because it didn't match up to the pipe diameter real well, -and I didn't want to just clamp it and smash stuff together.

I don't think my glasspack is made by diamond eye, -but the pipes are, and they fit great, -hangers and all.

My .02

Anybody that has this system, can you tell me what the size of the pipes are from the downpipe back? I need a true 4" system mandrel bent to go on my SUBURBAN for my project. The DMAX needs a bit more flow than a 6.5 does, and I want to go 4" from about the tranny back(going to use the stock downpipe and the front section of 3.5" where the cat would be at) and go with a COORSA muffler.

Diamond Eye vs. Warpspeed

I've been eyeballing the Diamond Eye, but it also looks like Warpseed is pretty competitive in terms of price and product. Any strong reason to go one way or another.

Thanks.

yes true 4"....

I can get a military discount from warpspeed. To me that puts them at around the same price. I will say they both, from what everybody states, very good exhaust systems. I feel you could not go wrong from either system.

Maybe ordering one Saturday...

Just got my other 4 235/85's... Swapping all 6 out Saturday Morning, should be an interesting change, effectively gearing me down to around 3.73 area, (7% or so more Circumf) ...

Can't wait...

Then a stall, see new thread, lol...

Warpspeed sells Diamond Eye.....at least they did a few years ago when I bought my last system...

Prior to that, they were selling FLO-PRO systems....

I went with Heath's super flow system. Certainly more pricey than what you quote above. Not sure why. In hindsight, maybe I should have gone a cheaper route, but I was ordering a bunch of other stuff too, and was easier to just order fromone vendor. But it bolted right in, as well.

Everything from Heath IMO is top notch. Servicee, quality, everything.

You get what you pay for. Can't go wrong from heath, and he'll back up his products till the cows come home, and then some.

Could one of you guys with the DIAMOND EYE on a SUBURBAN post a picture of how it fits over the rear axle?
