CS144 ALT CONVERSION BRACKET. WITH PICs

Is on the LONG list of things to do. When I send yours I be sure to have atleast a prototype bracket along.

For 1992-1995.
Sorry pics arent that good.
Well I finally got a couple prototype alt brackets done. It is extreamly ridgid with this mount. I designed it to use the factory strap bracket The one on back of tensioner to the alt. Also I will have another support bracket that go's from intake to the back of alt.

Strap bracket. I'll have to get a better pic of the additional intake to alt support.
The window is so you can see the belt tension range thingy. The extra hole on rear of bracket is to bolt the fuel drain valve to.

I dont have a firm price on them yet. Made from billet aluminium

Anyone interested?
I am interested. What kinda of price u have of the brackets. I ordered a cs144 not realizing I would need brackets to mount. [email protected]

Well, not building the aluminium version any longer. There was not enough interest in it. BUT! I am doing the rear bracket and the strap bracket. Thats all you will need. $30
Let me know if you'd like a set.

Thanks Josh, The set also comes with the bracket to replace the broken stock one in your picture now too.

You'll remove the stock brackets. Save it in case of emergency.
I'll shoot you an invoice.

Thank you

Back when I was making dual alternator kits (I was told they fit '96-00), several people asked me about a similar kit for older trucks, so there IS a market for them (maybe not very big, though). I only had my '97 to work with, so I couldn't come up with anything for them - maybe you can, as a compliment to the bracket you're making.

Here's what I did:
