I see a lot of guys running around now with DOT numbers on their door like a semi truck. I wonder if they can get aproved to haul that much weight. Im sure they would then need a comercial license plate.

Im seeing more and more pickups with DOT numbers. Does that mean they need commercial plates? Ill see the same pickup I seen last week and they added DOT numbers on the door. Still not sure why.
The axle load is how they are getting everyone around me right now. Most people have gone to tandem wheel goosenecks so they can haul plenty of weight on trailer. But then they have there truck axle overloaded. So weight distribution is the key to it all.
