Banks sidewinder exhaust manifold group buy.

Jody, thank you for the pics. That looks like a very nice pan. I've always had good luck with Moroso pans. The real thing was always far better than any of our homemade imitations.

Leroy, thank you for the honest reminder of the reship cost. That cost wasn't close to being on my radar screen. Who better to buy the parts from than you? You've saved my bacon in the past. Your new website is great.

Keep the videos coming Leroy. Even if I don't get there myself, I'm getting a vicarious thrill out of your build. My two 14 year old sons now recognize your voice and just roll their eyes over dad watching more late night diesel porn on the internet. Can't wait for the next installment.
Sorry for delay was out of town on camping trip :)

Thank you for the nice words.
Getting ready to go out and get some more porn clips shot. Im going to strip her of her oil pan then remove my shaft (crank shaft :D )

For some reason people are not understanding me I guess. I had said a TURBO engine will get better mpg then a N/A engine. Now that can go down hill real fast if you keep your foot in it due to most turbo engine having fuel turned up.

Because you wrote it, "turbo's get worse MPG". I quoted what you said. :p

Wow Leroy, thats one amazing 6.5! Those pistons have coated skirts as well as crowns. The coated skirts is new, and I'm curious about the cutout in the skirts, and what purpose it serves. Those rods are certainly different, using cap screws, and fracture caps, as well as some obvious strengthening on the small end. The crankshaft, well, it almost makes me watery eyed! :D This 6.5 just takes my breath away, and I would love to see how it would fair pushing 30+ lbs of boost, and some really big fuel! Leroy, I can't say thank you enough for finally giving me (us), a closer look at the inside of one of these amazing new P400's!:)

Matt

Leroy can you take some really good photos of the girdle and email them to me? Particularly interested in the front main to timing cover area and the rear main area.

The cutout is probably for windage.

Fracture caps, wow, that's pretty techy for our engines, lol.

I thought the fracture caps were to improve roundness? I can see it improving clamping too.

Think the notch is for windage or oil squirters? How do they line up to the sprayers/squirters?

Stop it, I can't get any work done and I can't stop drooling. :p
Problem is I can't stop either ;)

My plan is instead of alot of boooost is to inject propane, but may need the boost?? not sure yet.

Yes I can. You probably could tell in vid the girdle is held by socket head bolts not studs.

Notch is to clear squirters. On P400 they are relocated, I'll get pics of that to.

FINALY!
Got a couple pistons back in their holes along with the gapless rings.
Heres a short vid of that.

Anyone know how to speed up the download time to Youtube? This 8 min vid took 75 minutes!! (pretty typical times for me)
