AE scan tool time/TDCO set, need help

I haven't yet had opportunity to use AE with OBD2 6.5, but, iirc, the professional domestic package for DCJ\Fomoco\GM is bi-directional, allowing engine (and possibly transmission) testing commands - even with a bi-di scantool, KOKO is useful, as it calculates TDCO from actual IP position at idle, meaning no increased-rpm offset, allowing more reliable initial scan results

On edit: Ok, good input, Rodd

And, yes, the '99^ PCM makes better power than the previous vintages - it has been surmised that it was to be the mythical 215hp upgrade, but was never released as such due to no includable charge-air cooler - that's also why the '99^ lift pump was upgraded to match the higher output of the '92-'93 mech injected lift pump - this may all have occurded in '98, but for sure the '99's are improved - factory charge-air coolers were not offered in the short-nosed bodies until the advent of the DMax
