I am waffleing back and forth on the turbo, i want one so bad, but do i really need one? (i know someone will say yes) I could really use the money i dont spend on the truck to put into my new 351 for the mustang (lost oil pressure this spring on original 302):mad2:

thats how I bought my truck. traded a 351 slated for my Bronco for it.

The engine came out of a 94 ford lightning, so it is a roller block, tubular intake, and all accessories, its gonna be sweet!!!!!
Sorry to digress from the main objective of this thread, my apologies....

Thank You for that Ryan, but post 11 is where it got off track, mebbie I went overboard :nono: if Pat wants me to "clean it up" I can, his call

Hey! I resemble that remark! I have parts to build 3 AR's coming this week, more on order with another company -- don't care how long that takes. 3 sequential serial-numbered identical rifles for me and the two boys, and one upper coming for the last lower I have. Will bring the grand total to 5. Now to add to the paltry 1800 rounds of ammo I have in the closet. 26 mags is probably enough. ...not that I'm paranoid or anything. ):h

On topic -- my clippy things came in the mail today. I enjoyed the Idaho Spud!

I wish my stupid GM8 would die. Maybe I should disconnect the oil supply line, eh?

Enjoy,

On another on topic note, I met with my local Chevrolet Service Manager today. He said all the truck dashes like ours are all going to break, they are going to carry my part, and that a new dash is $493. (if they haven't been discontinued.

whoops check that, a new dash is $977 from the factory and add another 8 hours labor. Roughly $1500 installed at the stealer.

FYI,

I have reviewed over 100 dashes in the last 2 days. Sort of a direct marketing campaign.

62 of the 100 I saw are failing. The ones that weren't cracked, had obviously been garaged and babied their entire lives. It is my belief that every one of these dash boards will fail over time without reinforcement, whether babied or not.

GM should be installing RattleStops for us.

Thanks for your support everyone, starting to sell a few more every day.
