True. But I also hate doing things twice. And hate finding more things wrong. What fun would it be to have a new truck under warranty that somebody else would work on... ? Booooorrrrrringgggggg...
A semi-local place. TB Trans in Deer Park Wa. My uncle who rebuilt transmissions used them for a long time, and they have good prices.Where did you get your parts last time?
I think I said it before, and I will say it again, You sir, can flat get stuff done.
Thanks! Last go-round I ordered a 2.5 gallon jug from Midwest Trans (filled mine and a friends). I didn't have the time to wait for them to ship it on this go-round once I realized the trans was messed up. I did find Amazon has it for $17/quart with free prime shipping. Not bad at all, considering.looks great!

Type in the GM part number on the fluid on ebay, and there is an outfit re-selling it in 1 gallon or 2.5 gallon jugs.
Do you think there was a chance it was a heat related failure? Do you have a temp guage on it? Gear Tech HD and FAST Coolers both offer some good looking PTO coolers.
HAHA I like to get things done that's for sure. Heading out for a dune trip here soon. St. Anthony Idaho.X2. I'd still be trying to locate all my wrenches and he's up and running again.

Haven't decided if I'm going I90 through Montana and down, or if I'm going through Boise and Pocatello. Might do the latter, seems to be less elevation gain overall. Plus if I were to break down near Nampa guess who I'm going to call HAHA
Good to know. I was leaning towards I84/I85/I15 personally. Then i'm only climbing to a max of about 5k elevation. I90 you hit close to 5K then 7K before going back down into Idaho... My uncle thinks I84 was rough and goes up I90... I think less hills = easier......
