1996 K2500 “Krovvy”

With what did you strip them?
I just used some 4-1/2” paint and rust stripping wheels on my angle grinder.


I then cleaned them with some degreaser. Once dry, I sprayed them with self-etching primer. Top coat is semi gloss Rustoleum.

Last night the truck left the property for the first time in 5 years.

My brother did an alignment today. The numbers look good. He played with the camber to compensate for road crown and said it drives down the road really nice. “Really tight” he called it….it better with all the new parts and the quality of the parts!

I also hit the carwash with it on the way home tonight. It needs some more cleaning in a few spots, but overall it’s not looking bad.
