I was hoping we would done with it. As I am a worry wart :o Let me tell you the motorhome can go pretty quick on the salt when I want it too. I beat Johnny across course to get to Pat ):h Gotta love the D-max power.
But, everyone has worked so hard to try to make this happen not just us...
The goal was to run a 200 mph in averages.
I'm just happy that Pat is OK even if the truck got bruised up. On Sunday after we ran, one of the racers (Barry Bryant) lost his life when his car broke up :(
That is correct. They average your time from mile 1 to mile 2. Then from mile 2 to mile 3. You make the first pass if it is a record then they put you in impound for the rest of the day. Then the next morning at 7 am you need to run a back up pass. They take the averages of the 2 passes...
Thanks :D
As much as I want to take Casper keys and head to the the 1/4 mile in my quest for 9.9XXXX. :driving2:
There are 3 more events left at El Mirage. While he won't get a "Red Hat" for going over 200 mph he could earn a "Brown Hat". So I told him he has my blessings to give the last 3...
Opps my bad... Didn't see this thread:mad2: If you guys want to merge this one http://www.dieseltowingresource.com/showthread.php?t=13080

Casper run 197.06 at 2 1/4 and 193.033 at 3 mile
Here is the Casper report. Since I wasn't driving. We will start the tear down in probably two weeks after everyone gets back to a normal life.
I wasn't a believer in intakes so I was real skeptical about installing one on Wendy. But Pat installed the Banks with the super scoop sealed along with a downpipe and I picked up 2 tenths and 2 mph in the 1/4 mile
