    i did this last spring and i noticed a IAT drop from just having it open behind the head lights to when i closed it up. with the signal light out it was around a 30 degree drop, with the signal light in about a 15 degree drop driving on flat high way doing 100.

    very nice never thought of jack stands i drilled holes in the rafters in my car port and wired my door up to the car ports roof haha but you way seems way simpler:thumbsup:

    i had a similar issue just go to a semi shop ask for a transmision cooler with 1/2inch pipe thread and they will show you a huge selection of sizes and cooling capacity get one that fits in place and your done cheaper than stock or the lube kit.

    the pully off the 5.7 should work because after tracking part numbers it turns out to be the same compresser. im waiting for some time to do this and i hate ac even in the tractors i dont know what it is but it puts me to sleep i ve never used it in any of my vehicals
