    Thanks all you guys and gals for all the help, I'm going to do some tests to it this weekend ill let you guys know how it goes, I'm going to test the fuel pressure and go from there. Hopefully its a cheap fix.

    i do not have a fuel psi gauge. If the Ecm keeps the LP running after start up, then why does it keep dying when idling?

    Is there anyway you could bypass the OPS switch from the lift pump? So if the oil psi does go down it doesn't kill it?

    It starts up and runs fine but when i get on it and then let off the oil psi gauge goes down to almost 20psi and sometimes it sputters or just dies out. It does it whenever like i said when i was at school i was just sitting there idling and it just cut out. Then later on afterwards i went to go...

    Im not sure if I have a relay, pretty sure I do, and the lift pump does work, but everyonce in a while I have to open the fuse box and pull the ecm-b fuse and put it back in and then it starts right back up

    Which is better the BWD switch, or the ACDelco? I did my research and I'm going to buy a new ops switch later on today. How long does it take to change out the sensor. I know that it is located under the fuel filter assembly. If everything goes right when switching it out how long do you guys...

    I have not noticed a difference in mileage, the truck is running fine and its a stock fuel pump

    the pmd that is on there was there when i got the truck back in september. i did ground in to the heat sync. i bought the extension harness and a number 9 resistor and never put the harness on.

    What is ops? And the pmd is located on top of the intake and it has a cooler not the heat sinc

    6.5 wont stay running. No ideas anymore.

    a buddy of mine had the same problem with his 96 but it wasn't throwing any codes, theres a fuel filter inside of the tank that got clogged on his. if this helps at all
