If you don't break it sometimes, you're not using it right. Welcome aboard.
You're not late, but rather right on time.
You CAN get some of your dream upgrades; just skip one payment and use that money.
I tried the cheap mechanical ones; first one I just ran a T and the line into the cab, made the right connections so I didn't worry about diesel puddles on my carpet. I even mounted it in dash, light and all. It failed, so I got a new gauge and an isolator to be safe and avoid diesel on the...
Denver to Iowa via the Socialist State of Kalifornia?
Reminds me of Uneasy Rider; "from Mississippi to Los Angeles via Omaha".
I had the privilege to drive 80,000 lbs or under (CDL) through all lower 48 states. Many times I saw trucks and pickups pulled over to the side of State weigh stations...
Thanks for the excellent reporting and pics.:snaphappy:
Please forgive my ignorance, but what is that aluminum faced insulation and where can I get some?
Welcome aboard!
Do you already have the Dmax motor? Thanks to the CA smog, I searched for and found our '94 diesel Burb. It's been a great experience, thanks to this sit and the wonderful folks here, both those that have helped and gone and those that are here now.
Welcome aboard!
You're in good company for advice and counsel. Great pics, cool trip.
You have a great list of done/to-do, obviously you did your homework. Does your Burb get better MPG than the Crusher did?
There are always things to do that only cost time (only!). Flushing the hydroboost/PS...

I wish I had bought the...
Welcome back Robyn. I missed you too. I've been off for a while lately; trip to Texas, visits to Doctors and lawyers and such. It has been since 2008 and they're still juggling my meds, so that's a constant adventure. Many of us out here eating the elephant; one bite at a time. :gnorsi:
