The key word there is speed. The opening vs air passage factors with velocity. Example: the old Charger Daytona would overheat at town driving but over 100 ran cool. The smallish opening for cooling gave less drag at speed, but insufficient airflow for street use.

My $.02; Great experience with Evans coolant. It's a very common coolant type for stationary engine use; no corrosion and no pressure among the advantages. Initial Cost is the big problem, then it's not common and hard to find most anywhere if you lose some while repairs or upgrades are being...
I supervised a Fleet of '04 and '05 4x4 A.T. crew cabs. Six workers, equipment and trailers, hills and heat, very reliable. All diesel from our own tanks. Burnt out bulbs, dents, and broken glass were our biggest problems.
