Well I DK, TDI's last forever, but T304 does last much longer haha. Got it all together tonite, ruined an EGT sensor so I 'll have to fix that tomorrow with a new one. ECM should be in tomorrow morning, then its go time.
DPF "fell" off tonite.
Rawtek DPF delete downpipe and CAT delete mid pipe. I sent the ECM out to get a Malone Stage 2 tune put in it. Should be nice when done. It said the CAT was plugged and the wife was down to 35mpg from 45mpg.
Pricey mod, but the Rawtek pipes are beautiful and 304 stainless.
X2. takes a lot of work to hit that number, someone who actually hit it wouldn't want a smoke switch but would possess the knowledge to make one.
The type of gathering he references sounds like the exact reason these things are going away in the mainstream world but multiplying overnight due...
Our Kenwoods are sirius ready, but I could stream pandora through my phone and hook it into the radios yes.
I do like that they added a cell phone cubby with a 12v charger in a useable location now on the D series.
It would be neat if they could figure out something to do with the radio. I understand there is almost nowhere to put it where you can still fit the depth of a single DIN radio, but some remote controls or something like you mention would be nice. Maybe i'll just get our next one radio ready and...
We've still got some old ones haha. Just one though, an LS170 New Holland with over 10,000hrs on it now. Just got done doing replacing a bunch of weldments in the boom. only gets used about 5hrs a week on average now at one of our other farms. The 3 Cats at the home farm have been running great...
As many know by now the Cat "D" series is launched and making its way to dealer lots.
This series of machine is not to be confused with the previous "D" series that consisted of the 299D, 299D XHP, 272D and 272D XHP. Those machines have been updated to the new D series as well.
As a Cat owner...
Synthetic 5w40 is better for cranking and extreme temps but other than that its not gonna protect the engine any better and you arent going to get longer OCIs.
Now keep in mind, my opinion is based on managing our farms entire fleet so for me the overall costs are much larger than somebody...
Good numbers and smoke often do not go hand in hand especially with what a stock truck is capable of.
To the op good luck. You are not going to find anyone who will help you on most sites. Obviously you want it to show off somewhere to someone and thats the issue and the reason nobody will...
There is nothing wrong with the LB7, the LLYs have headgasket issues as well and as of late they have been going through injectors also. The new LB7 injectors have been holding up great.
Reman is not better its a waste of money. You'll spend $4,500 out the door getting one put in. For that...
Old thread but I haven't been on much lately.
LB7s are not the worst to own but do have their flaws.
I would've never bought that truck for many reasons, its been modified, the modifications are clearly not well thought out, it was owned by a repair shop, it was leaking coolant.
They must be...
Looking at another Fendt now. Our DT200 isn't meeting our needs and dad wanted to replace it with an 8900 series magnum for simplicity and reliability. However I've hopefully talked him back into the Fendt idea because 8900 series Magnums are now worth more than they were brand new and yet they...

Yes it would be but we would have to add a subframe to it to stiffen it up. I'm looking into it for snow removal this winter. Want something comfy and big.
Had it on the grain cart today. Running great. Less than two weeks put over 100hrs on it already.
Yes the front 3pt can be used for many attachments. a front PTO could be added as well for applications requiring it.
No we will not but the salesman orders them that way incase people want duals instead of the large floaters. We originally were going to do duals due to ice in the winter but...
