Sounds like glow plugs buddy, my 6.2 did the same, then i replaced all the glow plugs, fuel filter, and oil change, and now its fine. its a easy thing to do and will save you in the end. best of luck!
Anyone know some cheap upgrades i can do to get a bit more power out of her? how much will rebuilding (upgrading) my nvt4500 run me? any other sugestions on what i could do.
Well I figured out what was wrong with the clutch, however there is still a little noise coming from the clutch ( assuming the throw out bearing :/ ) So im thinking im going to replace my glow plugs, fix up the axel and drive it as is, untill i get the cash $$$$ to do a Allison 6 spd swap :)
I got this truck off a friend thinking all it needed was the 4x4 front axel and the syncro in 3rd, well I was wrong. I got it home and as soon as i parked it the clutch pedal completly froze up (thinking slave cylinder, or the throwout bearing? ANY IDEAS) the truck only has 307000 kms I did...
