Easy to say, but not so easy in reality ! If you want to get parts for a US-Car or Truck, cheaper and faster as here in germany, you have to investigate in the US and Canada where to get them. So this could be a reason why......

DSG should have one or Warp Speed Performance in the USA, but IIRC they have a canadian partner which sell their stuff.

Correct. I winch them up. I wanted to drive them up (i got no problem with that) but the Ramps won't carry the ATV with me on ! And it is aver than driving them up.
Cu,
Sven
Yes, Paul (Paveltolz) is right, in germany you're only allowd to pull ONE trailer, so what to do if you want to carry TWO Atv with for holidays ? Build an ATV Rack.
-----------------------------------------
The weight for the rack only is about 150 Kg and one ATV is 300 Kg and the other...
Haha, this market is in a smaller city north from Hannover, called Langenhagen (where the Hannover airport is) and it is located in a dead end road. So not much people drive there to make there grocerie buyings. Only these who knows, that there is such a "market".
"REAL" is similar to Wal-Mart...
Here in germany, with such a pickup truck AND such an ATV Rack load with ATV's, you look more like an alien. Today, on the first test drive with Rack an ATV's loaded the faces of the people looked a little bit scared !

Thought the same, but also thought about the OPS (oil pressure sender).
Perhaps at idle oil pressure is very low or the the sender thinks this and doesn't deliver enough Volts to the lift pump ? Also a small possebility could be air bubbles in a fuel line.

What are the outside temps, where you're located actually and on your way home ? If around 50°F or higher, there will be no problem without thermostat. Most people in florida drive without one the whole year. But generally, there should be no problem - the only things could/would be a higher...
1. + 2. -> Don't know !
3. Yes, 3" Lift is enough to fit/clear those tires. Got them on mine with a 3" Rancho Lift. See "garage"/Photo Album for pics.

Yepp, check the rear window. Got the same prob with mine. Every week water in the driverside foot aera. Lokked over and over for it. Than a buddy from denmark gave me the hint. Had a look and yes, I could press the rear window about a half inch out on the driverside. You could push a newspaper...
AND if locked with the posi-lok, it will be engaged also after shutting the igniton off. The OEM actuator (both thermal and the newer electric) will disengage the 4WD.
Cu,

Missy is right. The TLA (Thermal Linear Actuator) is prone to failure on these models.
You can replace it and wait till the next time it fails again. You could uprade to the later style electrical actuator (expensive incl. some electrical work) or go with the posi-lok system. Works manually and...
Yeah, but first you have to get this nut off ! I changed my alternatorand noticed that the pulley was smaller in diameter than on my old, but it also only had 5 grooves to my old 6 grooves pulley. It was a hard job to get the nut on the 13 year old, stuck with loctite, alternator loose !
