Does your kit fit all blocks no matter what year? Also does it come with the larger size lines even for the old models? Just wanting to be clear.
In the 800 plus kits sold I have had a dozen with issues. However the problem was with the cooler at the fittings. Seem that threading of the coolers is not always consistent. Did have one or two lines that leaked where they are crimped. So all in all its about a .02% failure rate.
I love to...
Block fittings are a real issue in 96 and 97. all early 96 and older are 3/8 npt. Mid 97 and new are all 1/2 npt. But late 96 and early 97 can be either. Older coolers are standard Tube-O fittings and new are metric. Buy a kit and it will come with all fittings no matter what year you have it...
Not uncommon on older engines to weep around the threads. You can try a couple of things. Snag it a bit more. Take it out and clean the area up real well and use a bit of high temp RTV on the threads and make sure and let it set for several hours before refilling with oil. Also the type of...

As over tomorrow all our oil cooler/line kits will include all 3 o-rings for the oil filter adapter on 4X4's. We are working on the copper seal right now and if we can get them at a good price without buying 1000 of them those will be included as well.
Fits all 6.5TD trucks, however on 95 and...
We now have 50 pumps on the self. This is all the supplier had of the FRB-5 The price we have always had at $90 will be go till these are gone. No group buy needed because we use our money to purchase what we sell not yours.
Greg
Nothing to be confused about. Its all in the first post. Its still a Walbro, it still have the same spec except its corrosion resistant and will be cheaper than the FRB5.
Greg
As you all know the Walbro FRB-5 will be going up in price it won't be double but its going to be enough of a jump to cause us to use a better pump. What I mean by better is its essentially the same pump but will be corrosion resistant which is better for the pickup application anyway. Looks the...
Just want to set the record straight about our kit. Seems that someone is saying we use 1/2" lines (AN10). Not true, from the beginning we have used 5/8" (AN10)
So even if you have the older model (typically 96 and older) you will get the added benefit of the newer model line size.
Fits both...
