Oil cooler kits

Are there any significant differences in the kits available? I am looking for 3 kits and want the best deal possible . any issues with install? Shipping costs ? PM me if you dont want to post

Welcome to the forums. Is your truck 4x4? will you need the 4x4 adapter seal kit also?
 
With our kit it does not matter what year you have or if its 2 or 4 wheel drive. All necessary parts are included not matter what you have.

OK just to be clear. With my kit you also get everything you need. And costs less. If the coustomer does not have 4x4 then why waste those seals. Most likely they will go in the garbage or sit in a junk draw forever.

Does your kit fit all blocks no matter what year? Also does it come with the larger size lines even for the old models? Just wanting to be clear.
 
You know what Greg, I won't argue with you in public, but will defend my product when you insinuate negitively about them in public. PM me or call me if you have questions about my product/s

Since another insiuation has been put forth my reply is YES to your questions, I offer -8 and -10 line kits. Customer has more choices and can bugget accordingly with my kits. Just to be clear.

Greg, considering our past I have to take what you say with a grain of salt. I would like to make a peace offering to you. If you see a post were someone is wanting to buy something we both offer I will not "top post" you with anything but my contact info, if you would do the same.
I would rather support you (refer to you) in other products you offer that I don't (maybe you can do the same for me?)but am hessitant to do that just because of our past.
What say you?
 
I have used both and prefer the one with these fittings available as a optionIMG_0682_651.JPGIMG_0683_652.JPG

With the pipe to jic 45 I have broken new coolers and had leaks. This set-up is well worth the extra $ in my opinion. This came from pmdcable.
 
fwiw I have used a few kits from Greg with no issue. I bought my first one before Leroy was in business and bought my second one from Greg again as I was satisfied with the first one. Not taking sides, only giving a positive experience I have had with one of the vendors. I have bought other things from Leroy and he shipped fast.
Perhaps this topic should be moved to the vendor request section.:grouphug:
 
Actually, this topic is fine right here, if that's OK with everybody.

Both Greg and Leroy have good kits, and as you all can see, both are quality guys... I've seen threads like this devolve rapidly into poop shows, and these guys obviously have more class than that. Thank you both.

I appreciate the effort both of these guys make to serve our community - it can't be easy, competing like they do, in plain sight, but they both do a fine job.

People will deal with them because of individual preferences in warranty, shipping, fittings, or because their friends recommended one or the other. I hope everyone continues to support them both.

I agree. Both are great vendors. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from either. Without them we would be on our own for the oil cooler kits and many other great products for our 6.2s and 6.5s.

These kits are not necessarily 6.5 specific right? I ask because I'm looking to add one to my car as well as a trans cooler.

Thats what made this country great, pride and competition......2 competitors that stand behind their products.

I'd like too say "MADE in the USA"......But I don't know where they source their products from......

AHHH, one can only hope.

What kind of car? As long as you have the room for a cooler and hoses they will work. Hoses most likely are different in length too. I can have some custom made for you also. You would have to make a bracket of some kind to hold the cooler.
