Greg:

I think my Fumoto Valve is leaking. It does not appear to be leaking that much, just moist around the bottom of the oil pan. How can I get another washer? Is there anything else I can try instead of the green colored washer? An o-ring or something? Thanks for you help.

If it seals like a normal oil pan drain plug then my favorite style of gasket/washer are these:

Steel core with rubber on both sides.

EDIT: Oops, didn't realize this was in a personal forum. Greg, what do you recommend? :D

Not uncommon on older engines to weep around the threads. You can try a couple of things. Snag it a bit more. Take it out and clean the area up real well and use a bit of high temp RTV on the threads and make sure and let it set for several hours before refilling with oil. Also the type of washer pictured above works very well. Either of the last 2 would be my choice.

Greg
