    OIl cooler broke

    I never said anything about 3/8. OEM for your year if it has the original motor is 3/8 npt on the block and 1/2" lines that use 3/4-16 Tub-O fittings in the cooler. Aftermarket cooler we sell is 1/2" npt with 5/8 lines and fittings for which ever block you have. Greg

    Oil filter adapter leaks (seeps)

    When using dope be sure to let it set over night. Tape will desolve over time and leak too. Permatex makes a good pipe dope. Its blue and sets up hard as a rock. Only issue is if you ever need to remove the fitting. Greg

    How Hot is TOO hot for oil temps

    Not with a 6.5TD loaded. I've seen 275° easy on mine loaded. The 6.5 is a good candidate for synthetic oil. Greg

    setup for 26,000gcvw on a 6.5

    Its not so much if it can pull the load, but how about stopping it? 26K with the brakes of that time is a lot and if you get in a wreck and they find out your overloaded they my not pay. Greg

    These pumps are reverse polarity protected. So if you hook it up backward nothing will happen. Greg
